Young Investigators Competition

The New York State Chapter of the American College of Cardiology sponsors a Young Investigators’ Award Competition in conjunction with its Shark Tank Challenge each year.

Any Fellow in Training (FIT), resident, medical student or graduate student who has participated in cardiovascular research in New York State may compete in the New York State Chapter’s Young Investigators’ Competition. Submissions are usually called for in the fall.

The best scientific abstracts will be displayed as posters during the Young Investigators’ Award Competition in conjunction with its Shark Tank Challenge, which is held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. The Young Investigators with the top-scoring Abstracts and best Clinical Case will also be selected for a brief (3-5 minute) oral presentation at the same meeting.

Note: If you are looking to become involved in Chapter in other ways, consider attending the annual Legislative Conference with NYACC leadership or serving on an NYACC Task Force, Group or Committee. For details, call us at (212) 686-0228 or email [email protected].
