The Cath Lab Technologist will assist physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac, vascular, and/or electro-physiological diseases by radiographic imaging of the patient’s heart and/or vascular system during peripheral vascular, coronary arteriograms, cardiac catheterizations and/or electro-physiological studies. As a crucial part of the patient care team you will perform scrub procedures, monitor patient hemodynamics, assist in providing CPR during emergency situations, and monitor radiation safety for physicians, patients, and staff.

June 25, 2020 – The arrhythmia specialists at New York-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens provide high-quality care to patients with an arrhythmia and offers advanced diagnostic techniques and therapeutic procedures, which include noninvasive treatment options. The Advanced Practice Nurse will assist collaborating physicians in providing assessments, diagnosis, care and treatment of patients in an outpatient cardiology practice setting. Responsibilities include treatment, management and remote management of implanted device patients; pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders; ordering of labs, cardiac tests and medications; receiving, interpreting, and communicating testing results; and coordinating admissions and/or transfers to other facilities. In this role you will assesses the physical and psycho-social health status of individuals and families through history and physical examination. And evaluates the assessment data to make decisions about treatment in collaboration with physicians and other health professionals.
This is a full time Monday – Friday, day position located at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens’ Arrhythmia Center.
