The New York State Chapter of the American College of Cardiology sponsors a Young Investigators’/Case Presenters’ Award Competition in conjunction with its annual scientific session. Any Fellow in Training (FIT) who is currently enrolled in a cardiovascular fellowship training or an advanced cardiology sub-specialty training program; any resident who is enrolled in a cardiovascular residency program; or any medical student who has participated in cardiovascular research in New York State may compete in this competition.

  • The two (2) best clinical cases will be selected for oral presentation at the same event. The selected winners will briefly present their clinical cases, followed by a detailed discussion by their mentors.
  • The best scientific abstracts will be displayed as posters during the Annual Scientific Session of The New York Cardiological Society, held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. Awards will be presented to the Top 3.
