Young Investigators 2018
** DEADLINE EXTENDED! FITs, Residents & Students in NY now have until Friday, Aug. 31, to submit abstracts and cases!!**
The New York State Chapter of the American College of Cardiology sponsors a Young Investigators’/Case Presenters’ Award Competition in conjunction with its annual scientific session.
Any FIT who is currently enrolled in a cardiovascular fellowship training or an advanced cardiology subspecialty training program or any current resident or medical student who has participated in cardiovascular research in New York State may compete in the NYACC Young Investigators/Case Presenter Competition.
There are two competition categories – Clinical Cases and Abstracts:
- The two (2) best clinical cases will be selected for oral presentation at the same event. The selected winners will briefly present their clinical cases, followed by a detailed discussion by their mentors. Fellows should submit the case report, discussion and conclusion. - The best scientific abstracts will be displayed as posters during the Annual Scientific Session of The New York Cardiological Society, held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. Awards will be presented to the Top 3 and announced at the meeting.

The 2018 Annual Meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20, in New York City.
