The 10th Annual Cardiovascular Team Symposium & First-Ever NYACC Summer Soirée

Now in its TENTH year, the Annual Cardiovascular Team (CVT) Symposium is a unique academic event designed to enhance current knowledge about the etiology, prevention, intervention and management of cardiovascular disease.

This year, in honor of its 10th Anniversary, the CVT Symposium – presented by the New York Cardiological Society of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and the New York Cardiac Center – will be held at The Inn on the Lake in beautiful Canandaigua, NY. We’ve also decided to hold the FIRST-EVER NYACC Summer Soirée and have booked the nation’s No. 1 Party Band, Nik and the Nice Guys, to play us off into the night!

Dress code: Business Casual for the Symposium and Summer Casual for the Soirée.

Program Description: Presentations provide CVT members with evidence-based approaches to the treatment and care of the cardiac patient and information regarding current and the latest cutting-edge technologies. The program is designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, technologists, physicians and all members of the cardiovascular team.
CMEs: The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Physician Assistants: AAPA accepts certificates of participation for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organizations accredited by ACCME or a recognized state medical society. PAs may receive a maximum of 5.5 Category 1 credits for completing this activity.

  • 6 p.m. | Summer Soiree begins
Summer Soirée: Immediately following the CVT Symposium, NYACC will host its first-ever Summer Soirée! Come rock out to the tunes of Nik and the Nice Guys, who have been the house band for ESPN’s “Lighter Side of Sports” and NBC’s “Bob Uecker Sports Show.” They’ve also headlined shows for Sports Illustrated, Reebok, Apple and Time Magazine! There is no cost to attend the party.
